About Me

My mission is to lift people and families into their divine potential by establishing connective habits and systems in their life. This is why I created the Find Your Path Program.

Find Your Path Academy is currently online, in Provo, UT and will soon be in Mexico.

All of the profit we make from the online program will go towards our work with orphans in Mexico Learn more about it here.

I am the executive director of the nonprofit organization called Families Up which was created for the purpose of helping bring this mission-centered education to all who choose it, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Hello 🙂

I’m so glad you’re here to learn how to (and teach your children how to) find and live your unique path.

You and your children will be intrinsically-motivated to learn, put aside distractions, work hard, and help as your family is united in a common cause.

Each member of the family will have more joy, peace, purpose, and fulfillment in their daily life.

How it Started

One spring day, my best friend and I were hanging upside down on the monkey bars after school. We were in 3rd grade and had bandanas tied around our knees, over our jeans, in “Punky Brewster” style. I still remember the sadness in her voice that day as she told me that her parents were getting a divorce and she and her brothers were going to go see a child-psychologist that day to help them feel better about it. I remember deciding right then that I wanted to do something someday to help strengthen families.

Since that day, I’ve read many books about education and parenting, finished a degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development, and learned how to apply these strengthening principles by parenting eight children of my own.

I also began applying these principles in classes I mentored and in schools I started.

Seeking to apply these principles in all of these areas has allowed me to acquire and inspire my kids to get what I call A Warrior Education.

This means we practice creating habits that align with an inspired vision, prioritize our relationship to God, take care of our mental and physical health, love and serve our family, and learn how to use our unique interests and talents to make the world a better place.

Giving Back

Finding and living my path led my family to volunteer at an orphanage one day.

This experience started a series of events that led us to purchasing land in Mexico to help children have what we were so blessed to have: A loving home and an education that allows us to reach our unique potential.

My Beliefs and How I Feel About Yours

I believe we are children of God with divine potential and purpose. I know the worth of each soul is greater than we can comprehend.

I believe that our family (even though at times broken and always imperfect) is central to achieving our potential as God’s children as we learn to forgive and love one another.

I welcome people of all faiths to join our community and participate in the discussions and programs.

I love the diversity of thought and I know we have a lot to learn from each other when we have different perspectives!

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and will sometimes share scripture or quotes from my spiritual leaders in my writing and programs.

You are invited and encouraged to do the same! I think all religions have profound truths we can each learn from.

Meet My Kids

Here is a little video where I interview my kids and ask them their thoughts on how to be self-motivated. They also share their interests and their favorite books <3
